|Red Twig Dogwoods, also known as “Red Osier Dogwood” is most well known for the stunning red color they show, especially in wintertime. Once the stems start hardening off for the winter, they start turning darker red. You do not need a green thumb to successfully grow the red twig dogwood plant in your landscape, anyone can grow a red twig dogwood, and that includes you! The red twig dogwood thrives in wet areas such as near ponds and rivers. They stay small, typically less than 10 feet tall. Typically used for the red color that is nice to see during the cold months of the year, especially if you live in an area that gets snow. Cold hardy down to -50F.|
